Twenty-two major players have confirmed their attendance for South East Asia’s flagship event for Transmission & Distribution and Electrical Engineering—the Asean Elenex 2009—which will be a joint project with the Industrial Automation 2009 on July 15 – 18, 2009.
The Asean Elenex has received great recommendations from numerous executives for its excellence. According to Asean Elenex, it is the “ultimate business platform in providing solutions across the manufacturing process, control and measurement equipment & technology and the electrical engineering industries in the region.”

Chairman of Energy Commission Dato ‘Ir Pian Bin Sukro lauds the organizer for always giving players the chance to congregate during the Asean Elenex held yearly, adding that it is “an important avenue for various energy players to converge for the benefit of the industry.”

Meanwhile the Minister of Energy, Green, Technology and Water of Malaysia Yb Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui is glad that the Asean Elenex is helping Malaysian electronics enter global markets.

Similarly, Dato ‘Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Chief Executive Officer, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, is certain that there will be many chances for electrical engineering players to widen their resources in the event.

Participants that have confirmed include Tritan Engineering, Multimarga, Sergi France, Mitsubishi Electric, KVC, Hitachi, Guangdong Hai Hong Transformers, and Leader Universal Holdings.

It is expected that both exhibitors and visitors will benefit from the trading of information and the wide range of opportunities available.

Asean Elenex is hosted by Tenaga Nasional and is supported by the Ministry of Energy Water and Communications, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, The Electrical and Electronics Association of Malaysia (TEEAM), Asian Federation of Electrical Engineering Contractors, and the Federation of Asean and Pacific Electrical Contractors Association, and endorsed by Matrade.
