N-Viro International has announced the construction of a new facility in Tel Aviv, Israel. The facility in Tel Aviv that will serve the Dan region of Israel will use the company’s N-Viro Soil process for the treatment and recycling of bio-wastes utilizing alkaline by-products produced by the cement, lime, and electric utilities industries.

The process involves mixing the wastewater sludge with an alkaline admixture and subjecting the mixture to a controlled period of storage, mechanical turning, and accelerated drying. This stabilizes and pasteurizes the sludge, thereby reducing odors and neutralizing toxic components.

The result is N-Viro Soil, which can be used for agricultural lime, soil enrichment, top soil blend, landfill cover and filter, and land reclamation.

The proposed facility in Tel Aviv should be operational before 2009 ends. It will be owned and operated under a license by the Shafdan, the utility provider of the Dan region. N-Viro will be working with its Israeli partner CRM Military and Civilian Technologies on the project.

N-Viro International Corp. is an environmental and materials operating company that owns patented technologies to convert various wastes into reuse products.
